Built from the inside.
By someone who's been there.
Stratiform AI wasn't created by a tech company looking for a market. It was started by someone who spent over a decade inside government, leading programmes worth hundreds of millions of pounds — and saw first-hand what AI could do when used properly.
Why I started Stratiform AI
I've spent over a decade in the Civil Service leading some of the UK's largest and most complex programmes — multi-hundred-million pound transformations taken through Treasury scrutiny, ministerial sign-off, and the full pressure of real-world delivery. I've overseen programmes spanning hundreds of millions of pounds of public investment, managed commercial contracts supporting tens of millions of customer interactions, and steered work through the most rigorous governance processes in government.
I know what good looks like — and I know exactly how much time gets eaten by the written work that surrounds every project. Reports. Updates. Governance papers. Briefings. Risk logs. The documents that have to exist before anything can move forward.
"I started using AI seriously for my own work and almost overnight it cut my admin burden by around 80%. But when I looked around me, colleagues weren't getting anywhere near the same results."
The difference wasn't the tool — everyone had access to the same technology. The difference was in how to work with it: what to ask, how to frame it, how to structure inputs so the outputs were actually useful. Most people were getting mediocre results because they didn't know how to unlock it.
If that gap existed inside government — where people are highly educated, experienced, and motivated — I knew it had to exist everywhere else too. And the private sector, with no centralised AI programme or support, was probably even further behind.
So I started researching the problem. And I found the same pattern everywhere: businesses that could clearly benefit, but didn't have the knowledge, the time, or the appetite to experiment while trying to run their organisation day to day. Stratiform AI is my answer to that problem.
This isn't a tech experiment.
It's applied experience.
The reason Stratiform AI works isn't because of the AI — plenty of people have access to the same tools. It works because of the judgement and expertise behind it. Understanding what good output looks like. Knowing when to push back. Knowing what a professional document actually needs to contain.
Why that background matters for you
When your documents come back from Stratiform AI, they've been reviewed by someone who has written and scrutinised hundreds of real-world professional documents. Not just checked for grammar — assessed for clarity, structure, completeness, and whether they do the job they're supposed to do.
I've written ministerial briefings that had to be right first time. I've prepared board papers that had to survive challenge from Treasury and the NAO. That standard of rigour is what I bring to every output Stratiform AI delivers — whatever the sector, whatever the task.

Bridging the AI gap
Large organisations are already moving. They have the people, the budget, and the infrastructure to adopt AI at scale. For smaller businesses, it's a completely different picture — cost, risk, security concerns, and the simple reality of not having the time to experiment while keeping everything else running.
Stratiform AI exists to remove that barrier. You get the benefits of AI without having to implement it. No software to buy, no teams to retrain, no security headaches to manage.
"Most businesses don't need AI tools. They need AI results. That's a very different thing."
A human-supervised AI admin partner — working around your existing processes so you gain the same efficiency advantages, without the implementation burden.
Intentionally different
We don't sell software, licences, or platforms. We don't ask clients to change how they work, migrate systems, or train teams. We operate as a human-supervised AI service built around your existing processes.
AI does the heavy lifting
Secure, private AI processes raw inputs and structures them into professional outputs fast.
Humans provide oversight
Every output is reviewed by a specialist before delivery. Accountability always remains human-led.
Security is non-negotiable
Your data never enters public AI tools and is never used for training. Private, encrypted, GDPR-aligned.
Results without disruption
